Building a deep tech startup is rarely a straight line. It's a series of hard decisions, unexpected pivots, and hard-won lessons that don't always make it into the polished version of a company's story. At Venture Café Phoenix, hosted by CEI LabForce, EnKoat's Co-Founder & CTO Dr. Aashay Arora had the opportunity to share the unfiltered version and the conversation was all the better for it.

He spoke openly about the early hurdles, the key pivots, and the wins that came from staying committed to the science and the mission even when the path wasn't clear.

Getting it from lab to market required more than good technology. It required understanding customers, navigating procurement, building partnerships, and proving performance in the field.
