IntelliKoat™ combines a reflective topcoat with patented phase-change technology that absorbs and releases heat, so it manages the heat moving through your roof, not just the sunlight hitting it. It goes right over your existing roof, with no tear-off.

Most Coatings Just Bounce Sunlight Away

Standard white roof coatings reflect sunlight, but heat still builds up and moves through the roof, and their performance drops as the surface gets dirty. IntelliKoat™ adds a thermal basecoat underneath that actively absorbs and releases heat, so far less of it reaches the building.

Protection From Heat, UV and Moisture

Heat

Phase-change particles in the EnBase™ basecoat absorb and release heat, while the reflective EnFlex™ topcoat bounces sunlight away. The result is a cooler roof and lower cooling costs.

UV

The EnFlex™ 210 topcoat shields the roof from UV breakdown and passed 1,000 hours of accelerated weathering with no cracking.

Moisture

The EnBase™ 110 basecoat adds waterproofing, and the EnFlex™ 210 topcoat seals out rain and moisture. Both cure into one seamless film with no joints for water to get through.

Phase-Change Technology, Built Into a Coating

The EnBase™ basecoat carries microscopic phase-change particles that absorb heat as they melt and release it as they solidify, smoothing out the heat load on your building throughout the day.

Think of an ice pack in a cooler.

It melts to keep the drinks cold, then refreezes, ready to do it again. Each IntelliKoat™ particle works the same way, at about half the width of a human hair, and tuned to melt at the temperatures your climate needs.

What are phase-change materials?

They’re materials that store heat as they melt and release it as they solidify, like an ice pack in a cooler. In IntelliKoat™, they’re encapsulated as tiny particles and tuned to the temperatures your climate needs, lasting more than 10,000 heating and cooling cycles.

Does it go over my existing roof?

Yes. All three product lines go right over your existing roof with no tear-off. IntelliKoat™ has been applied to TPO, metal, modified bitumen, built-up and spray foam roofs.
