ASU Library Archive Facility

ASU Library Archive Facility

Arizona State University’s library archive facility in Mesa protects collections that need stable conditions, under one of the hottest climates in the country. To measure how much IntelliKoat™ could cool the building, ASU and Salt River Project partnered with EnKoat to coat part of the 40,000 sq ft roof and compare it with an uncoated section. More than 30 sensors tracked the difference, showing roof surface temperatures 15 to 25°F lower on the coated side.
